This is a simple mindfulness exercise that can be performed throughout the day to help relieve tension, calm anxiety and focus your mind on the present in the moment.

1: First, find some coloured sticky dots, you can get them from any stationery store and most supermarkets.  

2: Put one of these sticky dots on your watch, phone, planner and/ or clock. Ideally you would want to place a sticky dot on any object you know you will look at regularly throughout the day.
3: During your day, every time you see one of these dots, remind yourself to pause for a moment. Take a deep focused breath, drop your shoulders, and breath again.
It’s as easy as 1 – 2 – 3! Continue with your day until you notice another dot, then repeat step 3.
